The way that I consume news is normally through TV or through apps like Snapchat that has Cosmopolitan and Daily Mail features everyday. Im less likely to read a newspaper but if I'm bored I will read it or if I hear about a story I'm interested in i will read a newspaper in order to get more information on it.
My mums pattern of consumption is very sporadic because she hardly every buys newspapers, but she watches the news on the television in the morning and in the evening. Every now and then she will get free newspapers to consume the news.
Why
I consume news if I hear something I am interested in and want to find out more about it. The story's that I read generally cover shock and proximity as I read stories that are close to home and that shock or supprise me.
The objectivity of news matters to me because if news unfairly draws someone out I don't think that it should be published. I think all news should be fair and respectful to who or what it is about.
